Crochet animals are a great idea for baby blankets. They are cute, neutral, and the baby’s gender doesn’t make a difference. This is what makes it a perfect gift for a baby shower. Don’t forget about other occasions as birthdays or Christmas!

Apart from their beautiful appearance, the crochet baby blankets also teach the little ones the natural world filled with the animals that surround them. The animal’s image is as big as a baby lying on the blanket – it gives a cosy impression of a mascot hugging the newborn. I bet it will be the toddler’s favourite toy!Take a look at examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.
