Hemisphere Block

Have you heard about op-art before? If not, this is a great chance to learn more about it, because this afghan block designed by Elyse is a perfect example. Different sizes and shapes of the rectangles create an illusion of depth, but if you combine it with gradient change of colors (from light to dark) it looks like it’s really sinking in, or popping out!

8″ Tapestry Cup of Cocoa Afghan Square

The Tapestry Square Afghan Project 2018 will be an amusing way to test this technology by December and create a fun blanket. Who does not like to sit under the comfortable blanket and drink something delicious and tasty in their cup, cuddled with the favourite pet or wife, a book or a project in their lap? This is my favourite activity in late fall and early winter particularly when the outside climate is really horrible. Please have fun doing Divine Debris ‘ 8′′ Cocoa Afghan Square Tapestry Cup. I will be indoors with my cup of cocoa and a nice book, let it be snow, rain, or be windy.
