This is the pattern of my mother’s childhood bedspread. Her bedspread was made about a hundred years ago. It was starting to fall to pieces. I cut the octagons that were in good shape, out of the bedspread and had them framed and distributed them to my sibling and my mother’s grandchildren.
My mom made this bedspread as a wedding gift for me and my husband. Took her 20 years. It’s a beautiful patter but it weighs a ton so not very practical to sleep under! Lol
