Rainbow Knitted Accessories

A rainbow design is very on trend lately. It looks really good on winter or autumn scarfs or ponchos, especially when made with a thick yarn. Everyone dreams of some color in that dull time of a year. The rainbow accessories bring the memory of spring and look really good in people’s monotonous dark outfits. It’s an easy thing to do and you can apply it to any pattern you want just to bring some life to your wardrobe. You can use as many colors you want, you can also use scraps remaining from the previous works if you decide on a small piece. The only limitation is the amount of the yarns of different shades that you can find! Take a look at examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.

It’s nice to make a work big enough to be able to show the colors flow smoothly. In such a way you will be able to show the integrity even though you are using completely different colors without repeating them. You can also think of having a color and its shades to make it easier.

You can also mix the shades of the same color or use multicolored yarn. There are no color flow, because each strip is already a colorful fusion and each one is different from the other. You can always be as creative as you want, you can repeat the same colors along the work and it doesn’t have to be regular. Have fun with it!
