Crochet throws are not only adorable, but also very practical. No matter the season, they always come in handy on walks in the stroller, or in the crib, when it’s a little chilly in the evenings and you want to make sure, that your kiddo is warm and cosy before they go to sleep.

Baby blankets are amazing for taking your mind off thing, because they are really easy to make, and the crocheting is very repetitive. You can make a smaller or a bigger blankie depending on your needs, but despite your choice, the result will be simply stunning! Search for links to free patterns under the pictures below.

  1. Ummm, that blue waves blanket at the top of this pattern is one that I crocheted. I don’t recall giving permission to use my photo of it here on this website either. Please remove it if you’re not going to give proper credit to who created it.
    Michele – kindredcottage on Ravelry.

  2. Why is Michele Colaner’s Ocean Waves crochet throw which is the first two photos in this post being used without giving her the recognition? You pulled this off her ravelry page without consent.

You gave recognition to frayed knot.

  3. the pattern does not tell the same colors of yarn as the top picture above.
is there anyway to find out what colors were used as i would like the same colors.

  4. There is so much confusion with this post. First of all, the first link under Michele’s photo takes you to the list of colors that she used. The second link takes you to a page where a link to a pattern is that has the same name, but isn’t the same pattern. The link under the rainbow version takes you to a page where there is a link to the correct pattern, but it’s $4.99. I found this page through Pinterest with a title of, “Ocean Waves Crochet Throw [FREE].” So, to go through figuring all of this out only to find out it’s not, in fact, free kind of pisses me off.

    1. Dear Shauna, we’re sorry, that you feel this way. If this pattern is signed as “free” it certainly was free, but sometimes authors decide to monetize their patterns. It is very possible, that it will be free again. In situations like this it’s best to contact the author directly.

  5. they are so beautifull and yes i have made similar ones thanks for the look to bad the ocean waves is not free as i am on a fixed income and dont have the cash to buy thanks anyway

  6. je ne peux plus tricoter, pourriez-vous résilier mon abonnement. Je suis vraiment navrée, vos modèles sont si beaux
    merci

  7. Hi, is there any chance of getting the emailcontact of Michele Colaner to ask if we can purchase the pattern anywhere ???
The link under the photo is invalid.

    1. Hi, I’ve just checked the links and they work, please try one more time, the pattern is free on Ravelry. The link is in the post under the picture 🙂
