We all know triangular crochet shawls very well – there are many amazing projects, both free and paid. Shawls are one of the most popular categories of crochet projects. It’s easy to get stuck on the idea that this is all there is, but shawls can come in all shapes and sizes!

Today, I wanted to talk about crescent shawls, which not only have half-circular shapes but also elongated “tails.” These slim and long accessories drape beautifully and can be an amazing addition to many outfits. Make them with fine natural yarn, such as one with silk or soft wool, this way, they will look spectacular! An elegant crescent shawl is a must-have.

Take a look at the examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.
