How to Crochet Dragonfly Stitch

Dragonflies are such wonderful creatures! They are most often seen near the lake, where they fly slowly and happily, enjoying the nature. You can see a lot of them while sailing or kayaking, because they love flying just above the water surface.

Their wings are so shiny, that they look almost magical! Using their shape on a blanket is a wonderful idea, because it can be decorative and subtle at the same time. Usually the perforation comes in the dragonfly shape and all the colors come around, but you can play with it. Take a look at examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.

  1. I love the dragonfly pattern! I need to find the design with staggered dragonflies. So I can make a simple rectangular shawl. Not only that but there is no mention of basic chain multiples to make it an adjustable length. I understand row by row written instructions,
    not graphs. Please help.
