Chevron Knitted Baby Blankets

Knitted baby blankets are big or small, thick or thin. May be of any design and any shape possible. Everyone loves them because they are useful and allow to express the creativity which is normally sleeping somewhere deep inside you.
Baby blankets are even better, as if they are big for a newborn, they are still small for us and relatively quick to make. Think of the use of the blanket and imagine yourself and the baby in that situations. The conception of the patterns and colors will come to you alone as you leave your mind open for ideas! Meanwhile take a look at examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.

Shaded Chevrons Baby Blanket
This is a beautiful and delicate blanket. I love the colors – bright but full of life in the same time. Such blanket can be used inside or outside the house. Look how stunning it looks on a sand! It’s super soft and nice to touch. The blanket might look a bit more advanced but chevron is a really easy pattern. So just relax, take the colours that you want and create that pretty thing!

Rameez Baby Blanket
This is a very easy pattern. It’s big and clear – no advanced skills are required. Green and grey look good together but you can of course use any color you like. If you want a smoother effect you can use lighter shades or even just one colour. It would look as soft as a cloud! But don’t worry – even though it can look delicate, you can always make bottom side with a plush material to keep the baby warm!

Alize Ez Ripple Blanket
This tick yarn makes the blanket so plushy – it looks so comfy that it encourages people to just lie down and snuggle into the blanket! Despite of the texture, the purple and the green create a very sophisticated and elegant combination that will look good in many interiors. You can always modify the existing color by mixing it with the other one – it gives a really interesting effect – look at the green stripe!

Clear Skies Blanket
The blanket below looks like a blue sky above a forest during a weekend getaway. The time slows down, it’s peaceful around, the trees and plants are at their fullest green, the sky is clear. This is what immediately appears in your head when you look at that amazing blanket! Remember that everyone can have different associations so each blanket will be unique, doesn’t matter if the theme is the same.

This beautiful piece looks like the sea with its waves of different shades of blue and with the bright, creamy foam hitting the beach and going back to disappear in the sea again just a next moment. The nature is unexpected and wild but the blanket au contraire, it’s ment to give a safety feeling during the nursery. It’s like a soft and warm shield protecting a baby!
