Ombre yarn is among the most beautiful inventions for modern textile designers. Strands of yarn are joined together in a way, which allows the color to gradually go from one to another, which is perfect for crochet shawls. Working with this kind of yarn is very easy, but it require a little planning.

It works best with one-piece designs, such as big shawls, blankets or tops worked in the round. You can find a lot of different yarn types that are ombre-looking, so choose according to what you want to make. There are also yarns that are speckled or dyed multicolored, such as t-shirt yarns.   1. I looked up 3 different patterns and they all took me to the daisy chain pattern which was not what I was looking for

    1. It happens that we present several versions of the same pattern. This way we can all get inspired by different creators’ interpretation of classic crochet patterns.
