Bear – Themed Baby Blankets

Bears are classic motif in baby accessories, and it comes as no surprise – bears are big, fluffy and cuddly, especially in cartoons. Teddy bears are one of the first soft toys that are presented to kids, so little bear representations come up everywhere in kids design.

Baby blankets can come in all shapes and sizes (well, they are usually small, hence the name), but you can always make them more cute! There is a simple way to do it and it doesn’t involve advanced crocheting skills. I’m talking about applique! You can sew it onto baby blanket, but also on accessories or clothing items. Try it! Take a look at examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.
