Around the Bases CAL is one of the most versatile projects you can imagine, so it’s perfect for all of experimenters out there!

This CAL designed by ChiChi Allen actually focuses on innings, that is – the rows around the center block, and that’s why it’s so flexible. You can choose any square you like for the middle part, and use this pattern to add rows and rows of beautiful stitches around. Crocodile stitch is one of my favorites, because it’s fun and always adds structural qualities to the design. This version incorporates paid pattern for The Crocodile Flower by Joyce D. Lewis, but it’s worth every penny. You must admit that it looks very cool! Abundance of colorful rows remind me of flowery meadows and blooming alleys.
