In the video, we will work 6 stitches of space between each tear, but you can workspaces up to 10 stitches.

R1: Start with a sl st. We will work the multiply of the space chosen – in our case there will be a multiply of 6. Make 24 chs so there will be 4 tears. Make one more ch.

R2: Skip that ch and work 1 sc in the next ch from the base. Continue working 1 sc in each ch from the base. Cut the yarn.

R3: Introduce another colour and make 1 ch.

Work 1 sc in the same stitch. Work 1 sc in each stitch from the base. Cut the yarn.

R4: Introduce new colour. Skip that ch and work 1 sc in the next ch from the base. Continue working 1 sc in each ch from the base. Cut the yarn.

R5: Now we will start making the tears across last 3 Rounds. Work 1 trc in the stitch from the R2 three Rounds below:

Work 5 sc of the filling and work 1 trc in the next stitch from the R2 (3 Rounds below).

*Work 5 sc of the filling and work 1 trc in the next stitch from the R2 (3 Rounds below).

Work 1 trc in the stitch from the R2 three Rounds below. Work 5 sc of the filling and work 1 trc in the next stitch from the R2 (3 Rounds below)* rep. until completing the Round.

R6: Introduce another colour with a ch and a sc. *Work 1 trc in the stitch from the R3 (3 Rounds below). Work 5 sc of the filling and work 1 trc in the stitch from the R3 (3 Rounds below)* rep. until completing the Round.

End the Round with 4 filling sc.

R7: Introduce another colour with a ch and a sc. *Work 5 sc of the filling and work 1 trc in the stitch from the R3 (3 Rounds below). Work 5 filling sc* rep. until completing the Round.

End the Round with 3 sc.

Just repeat the same until having the size that you wish!

If you want to make a cover for your plant the same as in the video, join both parts of the work with sl sts.
