Not all the flowers are the same. This original and detailed colorful African flower will meet expectations of a demanding pattern seeker. The flower consists actually of two flowers: one in the center and another one which creates the petals. The flower is flat so the work can be of any use, starting with napkins and ending with a table cloth or a blanket. You can also decide to make the work in other than square shape, for example a hexagon. Flower motif gives a lot of room for experiments – if you choose a light color background, the colors will pop. If on the other hand you pick colors that create the contrast, the pattern will look more juicy. Take a look at examples below and search for links to free patterns under the pictures.

The petals of that pattern  are rounder which makes the flowers look softer. This design is very regular, there are eight petals of the flower, as well as eight corners of the work. You can always play with shapes and colors to make the idea that you have in your mind a real thing.
