Elemental Throw

Although this pattern uses moss stitch, which is not a woven stitch per se, it definitely looks like it’s a weave! All thanks to the clever alternating between black and white, which creates this illusion. If you like rustic woven look, but don’t want to learn basketweave, you should try Leelee’s pattern!

Heirloom Basketweave Baby Blanket

Is there such thing as an easy basketweave stitch? I’m not sure, but this blanket by Kristen ticks all the boxes – it’s textured, elegant and versatile. Bright green which you can see in the photos will be perfect for spring baby, but you can try out your own color versions! I’m sure it would look amazing in ombre yarn as well, so try it!
