Elemental Throw

Although this pattern uses moss stitch, which is not a woven stitch per se, it definitely looks like it’s a weave! All thanks to the clever alternating between black and white, which creates this illusion. If you like rustic woven look, but don’t want to learn basketweave, you should try Leelee’s pattern!

Is there such thing as an easy basketweave stitch? I’m not sure, but this blanket by Kristen ticks all the boxes – it’s textured, elegant and versatile.
